VoL Desk, June 15: In a recent press conference, the District Congress Committee Leh made a formal demand to declare Saturday as a public holiday in all government offices of Ladakh, including both the Union Territory Secretariat and District-level offices.
The opposition Councillor Smanla Nurbu addressed the press conference, stating that they have taken up the issue with the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, who has expressed willingness to take necessary action.
