Ladakh, J&K categorized as ‘Hard Areas’ within AGMUT

KARGIL, JAN 19, 2022: The Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has categorized the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh as “Hard Areas” in the Joint cadre of Arunachal Pradesh-Goa- Mizoram and Union Territory (AGMUT). An order to this effect was issued today.

Among 1166 sample, UT Ladakh reports 185 new Covid-19 positive cases

Leh, Jan 20: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, 185 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. 158 positive sample reports were received by CMO Leh and 27 positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil. No deaths were reported in the UT yesterday.

While a total of 1166 sample reports were tested in UT Ladakh. 611 sample reports in Leh and 367 sample reports in Kargil were found to be negative.

Leh, Jan 19: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, 164 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. 118 positive sample reports were received by CMO Leh and 46 positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil. No deaths were reported in the UT yesterday.

While a total of 837 sample reports were tested in UT Ladakh. 477 sample reports in Leh and 195 sample reports in Kargil were found to be negative.
