MHA notify another meeting with Ladakh leaders
Vol Desk, Feb 29: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has issued a notice for another round of talk with the Sub-Committee of the Leh Apex Body (LAB) and the Kargil Democratic Alliance (KDA) to be held on March 04, 2024, at 04:00 PM in New Delhi.
The Subcommittee was constituted with the three members from both the LAB and the KDA during February 19 meeting with the MHA to deliberate upon the demands submitted by the LAB and KDA. After which another round of talk was held on February 24 during which they deliberate on the three main agendas out of the Four-point agenda including Statehood for Ladakh, Six Schedule, Public Service Commission (PSC) for Ladakh.
Regarding the establishment of the Public Service Commission for Ladakh, the MHA assured a prompt notification to initiate on this matter. However, for the discussion on other two demand the ministry had committed to further advance in the upcoming meetings.
