LAHDC Leh Launches Scheme to Encourage Authors, Writers
VoL Desk, Jan. 08: In a first of its kind initiative, Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council, Leh through the Department of Information and Public Relations has embarked a new scheme named “Tsomrik Yarsket” to encourage local authors and writers.
As per details, the scheme is aimed to encourage local authors and writers to publish their original literary works on subsidized rates with financial assistance from the LAHDC Leh.
Works related to local culture, language and history will be published on subsidized rates under the said scheme. The beneficiaries are requested to contact DIPR Leh for more information.
