VoL Desk, Jan. 29: Two girls, one minor lost lives in a snow avalanche at Tangole village here today, reported sources from the village.

Due to avalanche at tangole two girls come under avalanch. Dead body of one girl namely Kulsum Banoo age about 11 years was recovered earlier.

While the another girl was identified as Bilques Banoo age 23 year was recovered later. The rescue operation was conducted by the Ladakh Police and volunteers of Basij-e -Baqiyatullah (ASZ).

“Prayers for the two young lives lost in
today’s avalanche at Tangole. Both the
bodies have been recovered. The efforts
of Ladakh Police personnel and
volunteers of Baseej-e-Baqiyatullah
(ASZ) are highly commendable” tweeted the CEC Kargil.
