IKMT, Sheikh Nazir condoles nation on Bipin Rawat’s demise

Kargil, December 9, 2021: The Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust (IKMT) Kargil and President Anjuman Jamiat Ulema Isna Ashriya Kargil (AJUIAK) Sheikh Nazirul Mehdi expressed grief and paid condolence on the demise of Chief of Defence Staff, General Bipin Rawat in a helicopter crash on Wednesday.

“The news of the sad demise of Chief of Defence Staff, General Bipin Rawat, his spouse and eleven others in Wednesday unfortunate Helicopter Crash has sent wave of shock and grief among the people of Kargil, Ladakh along with the entire country”, maintained a press release issued by the IKMT.

“Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust (IKMT) Kargil on behalf of the people of Kargil, express deep sorrow and grief on the great loss to the nation. As residents of the frontier District of the country, we always cherish the contributions of General Rawat to the Nation as a brave soldier of Indian Army.

“IKMT Kargil join the nation to convey its condolences to the Armed Forces and all the families of those who lost their lives in the unfortunate incident and pray for everlasting peace to the noble souls”, said the press release.

“We are shocked to learn about the demise of General Bipin Rawat, Chief of Defence Staff, his wife and others accompanying him. On behalf of the people of Kargil, Our heartfelt condolences to their families”, maintained Sheikh Nazir in a tweet.
