JTN expresses dissatisfaction with BJP’s selection of Tashi Gyalson as MP election candidate

VoL Desk, April 24: Jamyang Tsering Namgyal, the Member of Parliament representing Ladakh from the BJP, has recently voiced his discontent with the party’s decision to endorse Tashi Gyalson for the Ladakh parliamentary constituency.

Following the Bharatiya Janata Party’s announcement, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal expressed his dissatisfaction in a social media post, stating, “Today, BJP announced a new candidate for the Ladakh parliamentary constituency, replacing the current MP without transparent justification. I have formally communicated my disagreement to the party through proper channels regarding this perceived injustice to the dedicated karyakarta.”

He added, “Hundreds of BJP activists and my supporters from Ladakh have also expressed their disapproval of this decision. We will carefully assess the situation and determine our course of action, prioritizing the wellbeing of Ladakh.”

Upon his arrival in Leh on April 24, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal was warmly welcomed by his supporters. When questioned by the media, he confirmed having sent a letter to the party’s high command regarding the matter and stated that he would announce the future course of action after consulting with his supporters.
