Rehbar e Taleem teachers request LG for retaining transfer order
Kargil, March 04: A delegation of Rehbar-e-Taleem (RET) teachers called on Lt Gov Brig (Dr) BD Mishra and requested the LG to retain the current transfer policy for the RETs.
The LG informed the teachers that a committee is being formed to assess the implications of any such change.
As per sources, the same issue has triggered a debate among the RET teachers of Kargil district where a section of RETs are demanding for the transfer of their postings from one school to another with a proper policy. While another group of RETs are demanding for the retain of their transfer and let them to serve at the place where they are already serving as teachers.

I am in favor of a proper transfer policy like other teachers do. Serving for whole service time on the same place is a drawback for both teacher and students.
