VoL Desk, March 06: Following the dissatisfaction in the March 04, 2024, meeting of Subcommittee of the Leh Apex Body (LAB) and the Kargil Democratic Alliance (KDA) with the officials of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) in New Delhi, Leh religious organization observed a Leh Bandh and public rally today at NDS stadium, Leh.

The Bandh was observed in Leh, and a rally was held at NDS stadium where different member of religious and political organization took part. In the rally, the Leh Apex Body member Nawang Dorjay Lakrook and the prominent environmentalist Sonam Wangchuk addressed the gathering.

The rally was attended by thousands of men and women. On the end of the rally a hunger strike also began under the leadership of Sonam Wangchuk.

On March 04, a meeting of the Subcommittee was held at New Delhi after which the LAB and KDA jointly released a press release in which they announced that they get no positive outcome in the meeting regarding the Four-point agendas of Ladakh.
