Sonam Chosjor, Appointed as Joint Chief Electoral Officer, UT Ladakh
Kargil, Feb. 15: With the sanction of the Election Commission of India, Mr. Sonam Chosjor, JKAS (2008), has been designated as the Joint Chief Electoral Officer for the Union Territory of Ladakh.
“In the interest of administration, and with the approval of Election Commission of India, it is hereby ordered that Sh. Sonam Chosjor, JKAS (2008), shall be appointed as the Joint Chief Electoral Officer, for the Union territory of Ladakh with immediate effect”, an order issued by the Administrative Secretary General Administration Department.
Furthermore, the order specifies that Mr. Chosjor shall concurrently assume the responsibilities of Additional Deputy Commissioner, Leh, alongside his duties, until further notice.
