VoL Desk, Feb. 14: The Acting Congress Councillors, LAHDC, Leh appealed the Hill Council Leh to pass a unanimous resolution in a General Council Meeting in favor of the Apex Body’s demand to include Ladakh in the Sixth Schedule of the Constitution. The Congress Party Leh made this submission during a press conference held in Leh on Wednesday.

The press conference was attended by Councillor Saspol – Smanla Dorjey, Councillor Skurbuchan Lundup Dorjay, Councillor Phyang – Tundup Nurbu Cheetah, and Councillor Tsering Namgyal.

The Congress Committee strongly advocated for the passing of a unanimous resolution in favor of the Sixth Schedule for Ladakh before the February 19 meeting between the Ministry of Home Affairs and Ladakh leaders.
