CEC Kargil Announces 50 percent Fare Reduction at Kargil House, Srinagar
VoL Desk, Nov. 09: During his visit to Kargil House in Srinagar today, Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffar Akhone, announced a 50 percent cut in fares for both dormitories and rooms.
He stated in a post on X, “Today on my visit to Kargil House Srinagar, I have announced a reduction of fares for dormitories up to 50% and for rooms as well, in order to provide relief to the commoners of Kargil, including students, patients, attendants, and everyday travelers”.
The Kargil House is seen as a valuable resort of relief for patients, students, and travelers of District Kargil who visit Srinagar for short periods..

Thanks for relief to kargilis
Thank u Jaffar sahib, it was a hot topic among people to pay such high rates at Kargil houses at Srinagar n Jamu, it’s all due to out sourcing of these asserts by our Administration. We need not to earn income from these houses, they should be a relief to the poor people going to Srinagar or Jamu with patients or stay there enroute. Now it will again be a relief to people.
