Leh, Oct. 26, 2023: Directorate of Social and Tribal Welfare, UT Ladakh conducted a one-day training cum orientation program for newly recruited employees under Mission Shakti on October 26.

The orientation program, led by the State Coordinator of Mission Shakti, Sonam Yangzom aimed to provide necessary knowledge and insights to the newly recruited employees who will play a pivotal role in advancing the Mission’s objective.

During her presentation, she highlighted the key functions and significance of the One Stop Center and District Hub for Empowerment of Women. These Centers act as vital hubs where women can access a range of support services, including legal aid, counseling, medical assistance, temporary shelter etc.
