Anjuman Sahib Zaman Chief Patron Denies Support to BJP Amidst MP Namgyal’s Claims

VoL Desk, Oct. 23: Chief Patron of Anjuman Sahib Zaman Sankoo, Agha Mohd Razavi, also known as Miggi Outh, has vehemently denied any association with MP Ladakh Jamyang Tsering Namgyal or support for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). His response comes after MP Jamyang Tsering Namgyal claimed support from key figures within Anjuman Sahib Zaman, both in written and spoken statements.

In a post on X, Agha Miggi Outh shared a screenshot of the MP’s post and clarified, “Yesterday, Member of Parliament of Ladakh, Jamyang Jhering Namgyal, gave some oral and written statements claiming my support for the party in the election council. Neither do I have any contact with him, nor do I have any support for the party.”

Earlier, MP Ladakh Jamyang Tsering Namgyal had announced on Facebook, “Thanks to the tremendous support of Aga Syed Mohd Rizvi (Aga Migiod) Sahib and Aga Syed Mohammad Baqir Rizvi Sahib, former MLA of Zanskar, the BJP Ladakh is making significant progress in the Suru-Sankoo valley in Kargil District. We’re happy to welcome Sh. Haji Ghulam Mohammad, former Councillor, and his supporters to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). This is a historic moment and marks the beginning of a strong foundation for our party, dedicated to the growth and well-being of the region.”

During the event welcoming Haji Ghulam Mohd to the BJP, MP Jamyang Tsering Namgyal acknowledged Anjuman Sahib Zaman’s candidate in Parkachik, which led the BJP to abstain from fielding their own candidate. He highlighted the close coordination between BJP and Anjuman Sahib Zaman, citing regular meetings with Agha Baqir and Agha Miggi Outh.

The Aghas had chosen to endorse Haji Ghulam Mohd as an independent candidate without the support of the BJP party symbol, the MP stated. Additionally, MP Namgyal visited the construction site of Anjuman-e-Sahib Zaman’s Community Gathering Centre in Taisuru village.
