Kargil, August 29: In a significant operation, the Kargil police have successfully recovered approximately 100 litres of country-made liquor from the possession of four individuals, all of whom are residents of Nepal. The individuals have been promptly booked under relevant sections of the law, marking a stern stance against the illegal liquor trade.

This recent bust adds to a growing trend, as Kargil police have been consistently cracking down on the illicit liquor trade involving Nepali residents. This incident marks the third such seizure in the Kargil district, reflecting the persistence of the problem and the police’s unwavering commitment to maintaining law and order.
