ALUYA Demands Early Release of SSC Result, Announces 5th August as Black Day

VoL Desk, August 01: The All Ladakh Unemployed Youth Association (ALUYA) held a significant protest in Leh on Tuesday, urging the timely release of the Ladakh Recruitment results conducted by SSC. The unemployed youth expressed their frustration with the UT administration, accusing them of providing false assurances despite their repeated requests.

Chanting slogans, the protesters expressed their disappointment with the UT administration, stating that they have seen little improvement in Ladakh since it became a Union Territory. The ALUYA also criticized the administration’s lack of accountability and transparency.

A member of the ALUYA protest emphasized that the issue of unemployment extends beyond the 797 candidates awaiting the SSC results. It affects 797 families who have dedicated years to preparation and are now facing uncertainty.
