AKSAD Observes Ashura in Delhi, Emphasizing the Theme ‘Quran-A Divine Message for Mankind’

Delhi, July 29: The All Kargil Student Association Delhi (AKSAD) solemnly marked the occasion of Ashura in Delhi on July 28, with the theme “Quran-A Divine Message for Mankind.” The event witnessed a significant turnout of students at Jamia Ahlebait Okhla Delhi. Renowned speakers, including Maulana Syed Azam Baqir, Sheikh Jawad Habibi, and Molana Feroz Rabbani, addressed the gathering during the Shab e Ashoor majlis.

The observance continued as AKSAD organized a momentous Ashura commemoration on July 29. The Juloos commenced from Shia Jamia Masjid, Hamilton Road, Kashmere Gute, and concluded at Panja Sharif Dargah, where Molana Feroz Rabbani delivered an impactful speech, leaving a lasting impression on the attendees.

AKSAD’s dedication to maintaining cleanliness throughout the Juloos was commendable, with volunteers diligently ensuring a tidy environment for the participants.

The organization also conducted Sham e Ghariban in two different locations. The first event took place in Sangam Vihar, with Sheikh Jawad Habibi as the speaker, while the second gathering occurred in Jamia Ahlebait Okhla, with Molana Azim Sahib delivering a profound speech. Tamaruk was distributed among attendees after the majlis, fostering a sense of community and togetherness.

AKSAD has been actively organizing the events of Shab E Ashoora, Ashura Procession, and Sham E Ghariban since its inception in 1997. Their commitment to upholding the sacred traditions and values of Ashura is commendable, fostering a sense of unity and solidarity among students and the broader community.
