Agha Mehdi Mehdavipur Inspires and Inaugurates During Tour to Sankoo

Kargil, June 2: Agha Mehdi Mehdavipur continued his tour of Kargil on the second day, visiting the Sankoo Sub Division. During his visit, he toured schools, madrasas, religious sites, and inaugurated educational and religious facilities.

In the morning, Agha Mehdi Mehdavipur visited the Ladakh Yateem Trust at Lankerchay. He interacted with the orphans and delivered an inspiring speech, expressing his condolences and advising them not to feel fatherless. He emphasized that the first Shia Imam, Ali ibn Abi Talib (a.s.), is the father of orphans and encouraged support and assistance for them.

In this programme, representatives of Anjumani Sahib Zaman Sankoo, Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust Kargil, Jamiat Ulema Isna Ashriya Kargil, Markaz e Tablighati Imam Reza Sankoo, Anjuman Inqilab al-Mehdi Suru, Ex MLA Qambar Ali Akhone, councilors and village elders were present.

At Noon Public School, Sankoo, Agha Mehdi Mehdavipur received a warm welcome from the students who greeted him with chants of Salam Farmande. Addressing the gathering, he explained that when they chant Salam Farmande, it signifies their commitment to follow the orders of the Imam of the time, Mohammad Mehdi. He praised the students, acknowledging their young age but emphasizing their strong vision and courage. He advised them to safeguard their faith and enthusiasm for Islam and the revolutionary spirit.

During his visit, he also inaugurated a newly constructed library at Maktab, Tableeghat Imam Reza. Additionally, he participated in the online inauguration of Howza e Imam Jaffar al Sadiq at Taisuru, led by Anjuman Inqilab Mehdi, Suru.

In his speech, Agha Mehdi Mehdavipur acknowledged the enemies of the Islamic revolution of Iran, stating that they attempted to suppress its divine light over the past 33 years. However, their efforts were futile, and he attributed the success of the Islamic revolution to its connection with the revolution of Karbala. He reiterated that their path follows the teachings of Imam Hussain (AS) and emphasized the immeasurable value of love and devotion to Ahlul Bayt. He expressed gratitude for the warm welcome he received in Kargil, seeing it as an example of affection towards Imam Khomeini.

Later, Agha Mehdi Mehdavipur visited the Jama Masjid Imam Mohammad Askari, Sankoo, where he led prayers and delivered a sermon, shedding light on the life of Imam Khomeini.

On his return to Kargil, he visited the Imam Barah, Saliskote, where he interacted with the local residents. At Masjid Ali Abad Trespone, he led the evening prayers and engaged in discussions with the clerics of TSG Block. The clerics emphasized the importance of unity among religious organizations and pledged their support for the peace process.

In his sermon at Masjid Ali Abad, Trespone, Agha Mehdavipur emphasized the significance of the Day of Judgment, stating that more than 6,666 verses in the scriptures are dedicated to this subject. He urged people not to remain ignorant about the Day of Judgment, as it reveals everything after death. He considered ignorance about eternal life in this world as a great tragedy and highlighted the importance of self-building and control over one’s desires, as exemplified by Imam Khomeini.

Agha Mehdi Mehdavipur concluded by stating that enlightenment triumphs over ignorance, and individuals who overcome ignorance are successful. He explained that while humans possess animalistic tendencies, they also have the potential to rise above and achieve their true humanity, a feat not attainable by everyone.
