LAHDC-KSSRB successfully conducts OMR-Based Graduate Level Examination

85% of candidates appear at 37 exam centres across Kargil district

Kargil, May 14, 2023: Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve today inspected several examination centres established for the smooth conduct of OMR-Based Graduate Level examination conducted by Kargil Subordinate Service Recruitment Board (KSSRB), LAHDC, Kargil.

During the inspection, DC Santosh, who is also chairman of the KSSRB, visited Govt. High School Lankore, Council Model High School Goma, Kargil, Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School Kargil, Suru Valley Public Higher Secondary School Kargil, Conference Hall Baroo, Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School Kargil, District Institute of Education & Training (DIET) Kargil, Ladakh Kendriya Vidyalaya Trespone and other places where the examination centres for the examination were set up.

DC Kargil informed that for the smooth and transparent conduct of examination CCTV cameras were installed in each examination centre with backup facilities.

Later, DC Santosh also visited the Office of the Deputy Director Employment and Counselling Centre, Kargil and assessed the security of the strongroom and other arrangements.

Deployed Superintendents, Deputy Superintendents and other concerned officers from different departments were assigned the responsibilities for smooth conduct of the examination. The District Administration Kargil had made all the required arrangements for the smooth conduct of the examination.

The examination which started at 11 a.m. was conducted successfully and standard procedures were followed across the examination centres in the district.

Deputy Director Employment/Secretary KSSRB, Iftakhar Naseem informed that 6,529 candidates including the  candidates of Zanskar Sub Division were supposed to appear in Sunday’s examination.

He further informed that nearly 85 percent of candidates appeared in the KSSRB examination at 37 exam centres across the district.
