IKMT Kargil condemn Swedish permission to burn Holy Quran

VoL Desk, Jan. 24: The Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust (IKMT), Kargil condemned in the severest of terms the sacrilegious action and permission by the Swedish regime to burn the copies of Holy Quran in Stockholm calling the move “a deliberate act of provoking a half billion world Muslim sentiments”.

The press release quoted a verse from the Holy Quran (61:8), that reads, “They desire to put out the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah shall perfect His light though the faithless should be averse.”

“Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust (IKMT) Kargil on behalf of Muslims of Ladakh strongly condemn in the severest of terms the sacrilegious action and permission by the Swedish regime to burn the copies of Holy Quran in Stockholm. It is a deliberate act of provoking a half billion world Muslim sentiments”, read the press release.

“This is repetition of desecration of the Holy Quran by Sweden in recent years carried out indulging in Islamophobia.

“We urge the United Nation, Government of India and International Community to condemn this act of the Government of Sweden who has given free rein to terrorists to burn copies of the Holy Quran. “Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust (IKMT) Kargil condemn uncivilized and inhuman act and expresses deep anguish for this sacrilegious act sponsored by Swedish regime.
