VoL Desk, Sep. 19: District Police Kargil solved a hit and run case occurred at Panikhar on Saturday where a school student named Zulfikhar Ali son of Akhtar Hussain, a resident of Yuljuk was hit by a Mahindra 207  vehicle, read a press release issued by the Kargil District Police.

The suspect had fled away from place the accident after the incident. The victim was reportedly injured seriously and shifted to District Hospital Kargil for medical treatment.

In this regard the District Police Kargil filed an FIR no. 96/2022 under section 279, 337 IPC at Police Station Kargil and investigation was set in motion.

During the investigation, within two hours  the police party of Panikhar headed by SI Daulat traced the accused namely Mohd Hussain son of Mohd Ali resident of Maita, Taisuru along with seizure of vehicle bearing registration no. LA01- 1431.
