Kargil Admin bans hawkers, tata mobile from selling vegetables

VoL Desk, June 09: The Additional District Magistrate (ADM) in a fresh notice has ordered a ban on hawkers/ TATA Mobile owners from selling vegetables and fruits on the roadside in the district Kargil.

“It has been reported that hackers (hawkers)/TATA mobile owners are selling fruits/vegetables on the roadside at TV station, petrol pump, Shilikchey and MES road without obtaining any license/permission from the competent authorities”, read the notice issued by the ADM Office.

“Therefore, it is notified that there is complete ban for selling of vegetables/fruits on the road side at TV station, Petrol pump near Mechanical Division, MES road and Shilikchey. Violation of the notice shall be booked under law and strict action shall be taken against the defaulters”.

The recent notice surfaced a couple of days after a delegation of the greengrocers made a complaint to the LAHDC Kargil against the hackers and tata mobile owners over selling the vegetables on roadsides at cheaper rates than the market that is causing loss to the greengrocers market.
