EJM College Leh students protest tight exam schedule

KARGIL, FEBRUARY 16, 2022: Elizer Jolden Memorial (EJM) College, Leh, University of Ladakh students staged a protest demanding to reschedule of Examination dates at University of Ladakh headquarter Wednesday.

President Students Council, EJM College while briefing media persons on the issues of students said that the recently declared date sheet of the second and fourth Semester has no gap between Examinations of various subjects.

Some students in the fourth semester have backlog papers in the second semester thus do not have enough time to prepare for both the exams together, the president noted.

“Many students have a backlog as both the first and second semester exams were conducted together and got less time to prepare for the exams.

“Our studies in the current year were suffered due to online classes and Covid-19 lockdown, but still, we are not asking for online or open-book exam.

“I appeal both the Vice-Chancellor and Controller of Examinations, University of Ladakh to address the genuine issues of the university students”, demanded the President.
