LG Mathur unfurls tricolor in Leh on 73rd Republic Day

LEH, JANUARY 26, 2022: The Lieutenant Governor Ladakh, Radha Krishna Mathur unfurled the National Flag and inspected the contingents at the polo ground during the 73rd Republic Day celebrations in Ladakh.

The LG commenced the Republic Day 2022 celebrations in Ladakh by paying homage to the brave martyrs at the Hall of Fame in Leh.

Lt. Governor greeted everyone on the occasion of 73rd Republic Day and paid his tributes to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on his 125th Jayanti.

Reiterating the need to acknowledge the importance of Fundamental Duties for development of a nation, LG Mathur stated that in addition to Fundamental Rights all citizens should be conscious towards their Fundamental Duties.

The LG also took the occasion to express gratitude towards the Armed Forces and the Indian Air force for their relentless aid and services to Ladakh. He stated that in addition to providing security, they also contribute to the development of Ladakh.

Congratulating the National and State level awardees of various fields from Ladakh, LG Mathur acknowledged contribution in inspiring the youth and stated that they have made Ladakh proud.

The LG also spoke of the contribution of Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council of both Leh and Kargil in all development processes of Ladakh and lauded their earnest efforts.
