KARGIL, AUGUST 26, 2021: In a recent development, Manager State Road Transport Corporation (SRTC) has announced a new bus service to and fro on the Srinagar-Kargil route, sources said from the SRTC to VoL correspondent.

The service has been started by the Manager SRTC of which the first service will begin from 28 August. Tickets for the bus will be available at the SRTC counter near Shuja furniture in Kargil and JK-SRTC Counter at Srinagar, said sources from SRTC in a telephonic interview. Bus fare for one side is 452, the source added.

The bus service from Kargil to Srinagar will ply on Saturday, Monday, and Wednesday at 6:00 am from Hussaini Park in Kargil town to Kaksarai in Srinagar. However, the service from Srinagar to Kargil will ply on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 6:00 am from Kaksarai in Srinagar to Hussaini Park in Kargil.
