Kargil is virgin, unexploited, suitable for film shooting, says Amir Khan

KARGIL, JULY 27, 2021: Actor Aamir Khan after concluding his shooting of his upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha at Kargil district interacted with local media persons here today.

The actor was with the producer of the film Kiren Rao. Speaking to local media persons Amir Khan said that Kargil is an unexploited, virgin and less traveled area that is suitable for film shooting. He further said that the infrastructure, hotels, vehicles and other facilities are upto standard in Kargil where his team never suffered for anything in this period.

Khan appreciated the proactive cooperation received from the local public as well as the district administration during the entire period of the shooting in Kargil and thanked the District Commissioner, the local administration, the local council and the public for their support.

Earlier on Monday, Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) and District Administration of Kargil accorded a warm farewell to Lal Singh Chaddha Team on the completion of the shooting of the movie in the Himalayan district.

Laal Singh Chaddha is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language comedy-drama film directed by Advait Chandan from a screenplay written by Eric Roth and Atul Kulkarni.

The film is produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Viacom18 Studios and Paramount Pictures. An adaptation of the 1994 American film Forrest Gump which itself based on Winston Groom’s 1986 novel of the same name, the film stars Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Naga Chaitanya.
