Bazm-e-Adab Kargil condoles demise of Sheikh Ghulam Hussain Sahr

KARGIL, MAY 28, 2021: Bazm-e-Adab, literary and cultural wing of Imam KhomeiniMemorialTrust (IKMT) Kargil paid rich tributes to the noted Islamic Scholar and Balti Poet Sheikh Ghulam Hussain Sahar of Shigar Baltistan.

The people in Kargil felt grieved when the sad news of his untimely demise heard from the other side of LOC. Bazm e Adab held a virtual meeting to condole the demise of the deceased.

The meeting was presided over by eminent Balti Poet Mohammad Ali Aashur. While, Haji Mohammad Ali Nausheen (Vice Chairman) Bazm e Adab IKMT and other members of the literary society also attended the meeting.

In his condolence message Haji Mohammad Ali Nausheen paid rich tributes to late Sheikh Sahar and termed him a torch bearer for the literary folk across Gilgit-Baltistan and Ladakh.

Each member of Bazm e Adab expressed their views regarding the personality and literary services of Late H.I Sheikh Sahar. In his presidential address Jenab Mohammad Ali Ashur, on behalf of the people of Kargil Ladakh, condoled the demise of Sheikh Sahar to the grieved people of Baltistan in general and the family of Late Sheikh Sahar as well as the literary folk of the region in particular.

The other poets and writers who attended the meeting included, Akbar Ali Khan Shaheen, Haji Ali Baba, Nissar Hussain Nissar, Haji Hussain Pashkum Pa, Mohammad Issa Sabiri and Nasir Ud din Khafee. While renowned Shina Writer Mukhtar Zahid Badgami has also condoled the sad demise of Sheikh Sahar through message, as he couldn’t join the meet due to technical problem.

The meeting concluded with Fatiha Khwani for the eternal peace of scholar. Noted Purigi writer Mohammad Issa Sabiri moderated the condolence session.
