Teachers Bodies Condemn Violence at CEO Office Kargil

KARGIL, APRIL 23, 2021: In a piece of very pathetic news, some people allegedly entered the office of the Chief Education Officer (CEO) Kargil and damaged public property while misbehaving with the CEO, said a joint press release issued by different teachers and lecturer organisations.

“We express our decry in strong words and can never tolerate such repulsive and detestable approaches against an Officer of high acumen and insight fulness. Moreover, we pronounce it in strong words, that such tactics can never sabotage and undermine, the highly acknowledged efforts and dedication of an Officer like CEO Sahib”, read the press release.

Sources told to this office that the group of people had come to the office with some demands of their region. “No doubt, people from every quarter of the society have due rights to project their demands and issues, but nothing can be achieved in an undemocratic and despotic way. It is not like that, while projecting our issues, we put public property in great loss, honour of an Officer at stake and his life in peril. Proper code of conduct must be adhered while demanding and highlighting the issues in hand”.

The teachers’ bodies maintained that CEO, Nazir Ahmad Wani’s tenure has proved an ever enjoying, efficient and prosperous one, the Department of Education has ever witnessed. His sincerity and dedication towards his services is truly amazing and worth appreciating.

“From the very first day of joining this Department as Cheif Education Officer Kargil, every possible effort was put to rejuvenate this ailing sector of Education. So many historical steps have taken, plans have framed, policies have adopted and a number of schemes have been implemented under his able Administration and guidance.”

“Our Department feel immense privileged to have an ardent, quiet confident and an Officer of tall decisions.

“At last we once again strongly condemn the unfortunate incident in strong words, repose our faith and confidence in his novel decisions and extend our commitment to stand with him in all odd and even situations.”

The press release was signed by Syed Abdullah Shah President Kargil Lecturers’ Forum Kargil, Mustafa Kamaal President Ladakh General Line Teachers’ Forum Kargil, Ghulam Qadir Zaki President Teacher’s Welfare Association Kargil, Second Officer, Asgar Ali President Associate NCC Officer, and Showkat Ali General Secretary All Master Association.
