DC Kargil chairs VMC meeting of KV Kargil

KARGIL, MARCH 01, 2021: Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve who is also the chairman of the Vidayalaya Management Committee (VMC) of Kendriya Vidayalaya (KV), Kargil today chaired a meeting of the VMC at KV Kargil here today.

Member Secretary VMC and Principal KV Kargil K S Pathania, Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Kargil Dr Munawar Hussain Wazir, other members of the VMC besides parents attended the meeting.

During the course of the meeting, DC reviewed the performance of KV Kargil in imparting quality education to the students besides other activities of the KV during the financial year 2020-2021.

Various issues pertaining to the conduct of classes during the year 2021-2022, preparation of panel of contractual teachers, ongoing online and offline examinations, medical facilities for students, shifting of Government  Middle School Lungma from the premises of KV to an alternate location besides other issues came up for discussion during the meeting.

Regarding the issue related for the need of shifting of Government Middle School Lungma from the premises of KV, the DC assured that necessary measures will be taken to resolve the matter in due course of time. He also accorded approval for conduct of interviews for the preparation of the panel of contractual teachers for the session 2021-2022.

As regards to the demand for starting of bus service for students of Kargil and Sankoo studying at the KV, the DC assured the VMC members that he will direct the ARTO, Kargil for taking necessary steps in this regard.

Later, the DC also visited the newly established astronomy laboratory in the KV premises. He also interacted with the students of Class 10th and 12th and advised them to them to exude commitment and dedication in their studies besides also proactively participating in extra-curricular and co-curricular activities so that they can bring laurels to their family and the district.

On the occasion, the CMO Kargil assured to establish a medical room at the KV with necessary medical equipments besides also making arrangements for medical checkup of the students twice a year. 

Meanwhile, the DC also visited the NTPHC Trespone and took stock of healthcare facilities available to the general public at the health center. He urged the doctors and paramedical staff to work dedicatedly in providing satisfactory health and medicare facilities to the needy patients.

BDC Chairperson TSG Block Haji Tahir Hussain, CMO Kargil Dr Munawar Hussain Wazir, Medical Officer, NTHPC Trespone Dr Zakir Hussain, doctors and medical staff were present on the occasion.

The DC gave on spot directions to the CMO Kargil and Medical Officer, NTPHC, Trespone to ensure the provision of a Biochemistry Analyzer and to carry out necessary repairs of the dental chair at the health center.
