Leh/ February 9, 2021: A delegation of Anjuman Imamia Leh Ladakh comprised of Ashraf Ali Barcha, Haji Mehboob Ali , Shiek Nazi Ahmed Sharafi and executive members called upon CEC LAHDC Leh and deliberated on various issues.

The delegation put forth the demand of declaration of gazette holidays on the birth anniversary of Imam Ali a.s. the first Imam According to the Shia faith.

The CEC assured the delegation of favourable action on the issues in due course of time. The delegation also demanded for financial help to Shri Rahim Ali AQ whose house was lost completely in a fire incident. The CEC told that immediate relief has been given to the victim and financial aid will be given to him in rehabilitation of the effected family.

The Anjuman Imamia Leh expected necessary support to the victims from public representatives in LAHDC Leh of the constituency whom the victims belong to. Anjuman Imamia Leh also decided to help the affected family with Rs. 200000/= rupees (two lac) out of Anjuman’s relief fund.

General public is being requested to donate into relief fund of the Anjuman to help victims of such and other nature of crisis in the future.
