Photos: Martyrdom of Lady Zahra Observed in Kargil

Kargil/ Jan 17/ News Desk: Kargil commemorated the martyrdom Anniversary of Lady Fatimeh Zahra (s.a.) as Ayyam-e-Fatimeh. The commemoration started on 1st Jamad-us-Thani and culminated today on the 3rd Jamad-us-Thani.

The main procession of Ayyam-e-Fatimeh had started from Jama Majid and passed through the Kargil town via Lal Chowk, Khomeini Chowk, Fatimeh Chowk and finally culminated at Hussain Park, Kargil.

At the same time women wing of Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust, Zainabia Women Welfare Society had organised the commemoration for women at Zainabia Convention Hall, Haidary Mohalla where thousands of lovers of Hazrat-e-Fatimeh and Ahlul Bait had participated in the mourning.

Lady Fatimeh Zahra (s.a.) was the youngest daughter and the only child of the prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Fatimeh (s.a.) was born in Mecca. She had three sisters and three brothers, all of whom passed away in childhood. Fatimeh attained martyrdom on 3rd Jamad-us-Thani 632 AD.
