Leh/ Jan 07: Secretary Youth Services and Sports, UT Ladakh, Ravinder Kumar convened a review meeting regarding participation of team UT Ladakh in the upcoming Ice Hockey and other related Winter sports at the National Level today at UT Secretariat. 

The secretary has directed the concerned officers and Associations to frame a policy for selection trial and informed the forum that formation of a sports council in UT Ladakh is under the consideration.

The secretary has also informed the associations that UT administration is putting every effort to develop the winter sports as well as other sports infrastructure in the UT Ladakh and asked all the sports associations to register themselves with UT administration for further affiliation at the national level.

The meeting was attended by representatives of various winter sports associations, both from leh and Kargil.
