CEC Dedicates Ambulance, Oxygen Concentrators to Al Reza Health Care

Kargil/ Dec. 27: Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan in presence of the Deputy Commissioner, Kargil Baseer ul Haq Choudhary dedicated an ambulance and oxygen concentrators to the public during a function held in the premises of Anjuman e Jamiatul Ulema Isna Ashariya Kargil (AJUIAK)/ Islamia School Kargil here today.

The emergency ambulance has been dedicated by the CEC, Kargil out of the LAHDC Untied Funds to Al Reza Health Care and Research Foundation- Health Wing of AJUIAK while as the concentrators and nebulizers have been donated by Al Reza Health Care and Research Foundation which would be made available to needy patients with respiratory problems on demand as per the doctors’ advice.

Vice President AJUIAK Aga Syed Ziauddin Mosavi, General Secretary AJUIAK Sheikh Muhammad Ibrahim Khalili, other religious scholars, Chief Medical Officer Kargil Dr Munawar Hussain Wazir, Medical Superintendent Kargil Dr Sikander Ali Khan, Block Medical Officer Kargil Dr Liyaqat Ali Wazir, doctors, senior citizens, doctors of Al Reza Health Care and Research Foundation and volunteers were present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, CEC Khan while appreciating the role of Al Reza Health Care and Research Foundation in extending health care facilities to the needy patients by way of organizing free health camps and provision of other healthcare and medicare facilities expressed optimism that the organization will work with continued zeal and enthusiasm towards humanitarian activities.

Highlighting the role of religious organizations in the district for their noteworthy services in the Health and Education sector, the CEC said that such services will go a long way in human resource and sustainable development. He said that it is heartening to see a new crop of young volunteers in the district who are quite enthusiastic to render public welfare works in different sectors and the LAHDC, Kargil is ready to extend them all out support.

CEC Khan also hailed the voluntary services of the doctors and paramedical staff in addition to their legitimate duties which they are performing quite satisfactorily despite geographical constraints and other limitations.

The CEC also expressed gratitude to the religious organizations for their proactive role in the propagation of information and appeals with regard to the observance of COVID-19 SOPs and guidelines which has resulted in the control of the deadly virus to a great extent in the district.

Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil in his speech while lauding the contribution of the religious organizations in addressing health issues and according priority to health sector in the district through their spirit of philanthropy and volunteerism expressed his good wishes to Al Reza Health Care and Research Foundation for its future endeavours. 

The DC also appreciated the significant role played by the religious organizations for having extended timely support and coordination to the District Administration and Health Department for appealing people for proper implementation of COVID-19 precautionary measures which has yielded substantial results on ground.   

Meanwhile, Vice President AJUIAK Aga Syed Ziauddin Mosavi, Chief Medical Officer Kargil Dr Munawar Hussain Wazir, General Secretary and members of Al Reza Health Care and Research Foundation Dr Muhammad Abbass, Dr Zakir Hussain and Dr Murtaza Ali also spoke on the occasion.
