Ladakh mountaineer successfully summits Mt Everest

Leh, May 13: Jigmet Tharchin from Tia village in Leh district made the whole UT Ladakh proud after reaching the summit of Mt. Everest on May 12. He successfully descended back to the Mt. Everest Base camp today.

Leh, April 22: The Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) headed by Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC Leh Shrikant Suse, in a meeting today, cleared 167 time-bound promotion and functional promotion cases of non-gazetted employees serving in the district.
