District Admin intensifies random inspection of hotels

Leh, June 05, 2021: Intensifying its drive, the District Administration, Leh, inspected around 16 hotels in Leh town here on Friday.

The inspection team found two tourists with RAT report instead of the mandatory RT-PCR report. The team took action against them and imposed a fine. Both the tourists were placed in quarantine in a hotel for a week. Similarly, the team collected fine from tourists without masks and imposed fines on hotels found violating Covid-19 SOPSs.

Covid-19 patients testing positive after recovery can’t transmit virus to others: DAK

Srinagar, June 4,KNT: The Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) on Friday said some Covid-19 patients test positive weeks after recovering from the infection.

“RT-PCR test can detect the virus weeks after Covid patients have recovered from the illness,” said DAK President and influenza expert Dr Nisar ul Hassan in a statement
