4 km Tunnel To Be Built At Shinku La For All-Weather Connectivity to Ladakh

New Delhi: The Union Cabinet on Wednesday gave its nod for the construction of the 4.1-km Shinku La tunnel on the Nimu-Padam-Darcha road link to provide all-weather connectivity to the border areas of Ladakh.

Providing details of the cabinet decision, Union minister Anurag Thakur said the tunnel will be completed by December 2025 at a cost of ₹ 1,681 crore.

Leh, Feb 14: Ladakhi women runners bring laurels to the region with good performances at the 9th edition of the Hiranandani Thane Half Marathon that was held at Thane on February 12.

Leh, Feb 14: The UT Ladakh team showed spectacular performances during the 4th Khelo India Winter Games 2023 and 8th National Ice-stock Sports Championship 2022-23, held from February 10-14 at Gulmarg, and won 14 medals, including four golds for Ladakh in different categories.
