Candlelight Vigil in Lankerchey, Kargil: Uniting Against Gaza Genocide and Shia Killings in Parachinar

Kargil, Nov. 04: In a display of solidarity, hundreds of students from Maktab-E-Hyderiya Lankerchey, Sankoo, came together for a Candle Light Vigil on Saturday evening to stand against the ongoing genocide in Gaza by Zionist forces and the Shia killings in Parachinar.

Students from diverse backgrounds and walks of life passionately raised their voices against the war in Gaza, condemning the attacks on civilians, hospitals, schools, and places of worship. Holding placards, they expressed their outrage at the violence and called for an end to the senseless bloodshed.

The atmosphere was charged with anti-US and anti-Israeli slogans as the students unitedly demanded a “Free Palestine.”

Addressing the gathering, Sheikh Sadiq Balagi criticized the support extended by the US and European countries to Israel, holding them accountable for the oppression faced by Palestinians. He urged the international community to step in and contribute towards restoring peace in Palestine, emphasizing the need for collective efforts to bring an end to the suffering endured by the people of Palestine.
