Leh, July 14: The Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh and National Monuments Authority (NMA), Ministry of Culture, Government of India conducted a conference on the declaration of the “Indus River” as UNESCO World Heritage at Leh, yesterday.

BRO labourers open defecation video at River Indus gone viral

VoL Desk, April 29, 2022: Border Road Organisation (BRO) laborers are not provided basic amenities of toilet, toiletry, and sanitation, reported a page ascribed to the Aam Aadmi Party Ladakh on Facebook today.

In a clip, the Facebook page shows a number of BRO laborers ruining the sanctity of River Indus. The pollution of the River Indus is a concern to people and villages dependent on the river for farming and drinking water.
