Thasgam, Kharbo delegation called upon MP Ladakh
VoL Desk, February 21, 2022: A delegation of Thasgam, Shimsha Kharbo led by Social Worker Mohd Mustaq Mahraj called upon Member of Parliament from Ladakh, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal here in Kargil today.
The delegation in a memorandum submitted to the MP Ladakh appraised about various issues of the village. The MP Ladakh gave a patient hearing to the demands of the delegation.
The memorandum highlighted various issues of the village, viz demand for creation of Block headquarters at Thasgam,Kharboo, establishment of J&K Bank branch or any other Bank branch at Thasgam/ Shimsha Kharboo, sanction of civil Halipad at Sumat Das, Thasgam, protection of Juniper tree and to implement scheme for its improvement.
The delegation further apprised other issues including, opening of Lasarla Jusgond to Faroona track route, opening of Karbo castle for tourism and to bring the same on tourism map.
Other issues highlighted in the memorandum are solar water pumps for irrigation at Sumat and Dandal and Dandal thang villages of Drass, Ladakh.
